Security update for iOS devices
Over the weekend, Apple issued a security update for iOS 6 and iOS 7 devices. The update prevents phones and iPads from potential attacks that can compromise data. Users not running the latest patched iOS software may be open to attacks when connected to a shared network.
As of this posting there have been no confirmed attacks on users iPhones or iPads.
It is recommended that you backup your device before you perform any updates to the operating system.
To update your device, select "Settings" -> "General" -> "Software Update" -> "Download and Install"
