MyPaymentsPlus upgrade

This is a friendly reminder that our hosting upgrade is taking place this Saturday, November 22^nd between 4:00 AM EST-9:00 AM EST. During the time of the upgrade, MyPaymentsPlus will be temporarily disabled. Any parent or MyPaymentsPlus admin user who attempts to log in during that time will simply see a screen saying that we are performing routine system maintenance and to check back later. We’ve strategically chosen this time as it has proven to be a low volume time being early on the Saturday before Thanksgiving.

VHS Site Maintenance

On 10/26/2104 between 1:00 - 7:00 am, our courses server environment (http://courses.govhs.org) is scheduled for maintenance.  The learning environment will be unavailable during that time.

This notice is to inform you that our hosting engineering team will be performing maintenance to the district website between Friday October 31 at 9:00 PM EDT

 and Saturday November 1 at 3:00 AM EDT.  Up to two (2) service interruptions of no more than ten (10) minutes in duration are anticipated during this maintenance event. 

OSX Yosemite Available to the Public

Apple's latest desktop operating system, Yosemite, is available today as a free download in the App Store for anyone with a reasonably new (or not-so-new) Mac. OS X Yosemite comes with a redesigned look and feel to bring the OS aesthetic more in line with iOS, as well as several groundbreaking new features like iCloud Drive, Continuity, revamped Spotlight, widgets for Notification Center, and more. Notably, however, some of these features require newer hardware.

With any update to the operating system please be sure to backup all your info prior to updating. 

iAutoAlert Downtime

Due to planned Amazon EC2 Maintenance,  iAuto Alert will be unavailable tonight.

iAuto Alert will NOT be available  from 8:00pm to 12:00am EST on 10/14/2014. 

This notice is to inform you that our District Website will undergo updates on Friday night, October 24 between 10:00 PM EDT andSaturday October 25, 2014 1:00 AM EDT.  Significant downtime is not expected; however, some pages may not be available for a very short time when we reset IIS on the servers. 

Turnitin service may be intermittently unavailable during a scheduled maintenance period on October 11th from 7:00 am - 11:00 am U.S. Pacific Time (see local time:http://go.turnitin.com/e/45292/o29x6yg/r2hn/88736665). 

An announcement will appear for users within Turnitin in advance of when the system will be unavailable for this scheduled maintenance. This maintenance will affect Turnitin and TurnitinUK users.

Instructors are encouraged to modify assignment due dates either before or at least several hours after the scheduled maintenance window.
